Amazon sellers need to be careful of "phishing" emails!
Amazon issued a notice stating that there has been an increase in recent fraudulent emails that "disguise" themselves as Amazon emails to obtain private information of buyers and sellers. Sellers are reminded to be more vigilant and it is best to check the legitimacy of the URL before entering information.

These "phishing" emails typically ask you to update personal, financial or other account data while directing you to another website designed to steal your account information.
Amazon said that it will never ask sellers to update payment information through a link in an email, but will explain how to verify your account information (including payment options) through the corresponding Amazon website. Sellers can identify "phishing" emails through the following characteristics:

1. Check the sender details. The email may be addressed as "Amazon". Click Details to view and verify the full email address (the full sender address list can be found on the Help page).

2. “Phishing” emails often contain spelling or grammatical errors.

3. Do not click on any link in the email directly. Enter the URL in your browser and double-check the URL of the page. The URL of a fake website often contains subtle misspellings like "amzon".

4. Amazon will never send emails asking for confirmation of data and password entry.

5. All emails sent by Amazon are sent only to the email address stored in the seller's account.

6. Sellers can directly send any suspicious emails received to [email protected] to confirm the legitimacy of the email.
