Amazon releases FBA subsidies! Free storage quota doubled!

Recently, Amazon announced the implementation of an FBA subsidy program in Europe, which will directly provide subsidies to eligible sellers.

The subsidy is divided into two parts: the European site (Germany, Italy, France and Spain) and the UK site. First of all, sellers need to be professional plan sellers who use FBA for the first time, and they need to send more than 150 pieces (minimum sales unit) of products to the warehouse before May 31 to participate in the subsidy activity.

Qualified European sellers can receive a subsidy of 90 euros after sending enough goods to the FBA warehouse, while qualified British sellers can receive a subsidy of 80 pounds . If the seller sends enough products to the European and British FBA warehouses, that is, at least 150 pieces on each side and a total of 300 pieces, they can receive the full subsidy of 80 pounds + 90 euros (about 183 euros).

You can sign up by registering directly on the official page. Amazon will then review whether the seller meets the conditions for participating in the subsidy activity and finally determine whether to participate. Sellers will generally be notified within 5 days of registration.

Sellers do not need to use Amazon's own first-mile service to participate in this event. As long as the goods are put into the warehouse within the specified time , sellers can choose third-party logistics service providers to participate in the event at will, and even if the first-mile fee is lower than the subsidy, they can still get the full subsidy.

In addition, the European site is currently promoting Amazon's new selection plan (FBA New Selection), which has a series of fee reductions for new products sent to FBA, including free storage fees, disposal fees, etc. This saves costs from the first leg to storage fees, and is a great opportunity for new sellers or sellers from other sites to enter the European site.

Amazon’s recent announcement shows that the FBA New Selection program will be fully upgraded. Large products can now participate in the New Selection program and are exempt from storage, removal and return processing fees.

For apparel and shoes and bags, Amazon has adjusted the inventory limit for participating in the event from the original first 50 pieces per ASIN to 100 pieces! And the duration of the event to waive storage fees has also been extended from 90 days to 120 days!

It can exempt sellers from part of the fees incurred by sending FBA inventory for newly created products. Each newly created ASIN (parent product) can enjoy the first 50 pieces of inventory exemption from storage and removal fees.

Now the quantity limit for categories such as clothing, shoes and bags has been directly increased to 100 pieces. This is very beneficial for clothing categories with many sizes and colors resulting in many variations. More inventory can be issued and longer free storage can be enjoyed.
