Cross-border Communication's cooperative merchants and the goods they sell have been registered with the customs and inspection and quarantine departments, avoiding the risk of consumers buying counterfeit goods. All the goods sold have corresponding after-sales service guarantee mechanisms. Each product on the Cross-border Communication website is described in Chinese, overcoming the language barriers encountered in overseas shopping, and clearly indicating the price of the product itself, import tariffs and logistics costs, so that consumers have a clear understanding of the payment price structure, and consumers only need to pay in RMB, saving the trouble of exchanging foreign currency in overseas shopping. After completing the order, the Cross-border Communication website will also provide a tax payment certificate for the payment of import tariffs; offline, Cross-border Communication has built professional warehousing facilities for cross-border trade e-commerce in the Pudong Airport Free Trade Zone, providing warehousing services and customs declaration and inspection services for the entry process of various goods of cooperative merchants, and cooperating with well-known international and domestic logistics companies to ensure the quality of express delivery services.

The cooperative merchants of KEI-TUNG come from all over the world. They mainly operate eight categories of goods on the KEI-TUNG website platform, including imported food, maternal and child products, health food, shoes, bags, skin care and cosmetics, fashion + clothing accessories, 3C electronic products, and home furnishings.

A: According to the relevant regulations of the port regulatory authorities, domestic consumers need to provide real-name information when their personal packages enter the country after cross-border online shopping to facilitate customs declaration, and this information must be kept strictly confidential and never disclosed.

3. Membership purchase related issues

Q: Do I need to pay extra for courier service when I order products from a merchant's website? Will the courier fee increase if I buy a large quantity?

A: The freight for imported goods includes the courier fees for both overseas and domestic sections. The specific price is determined based on the quotation of the third-party logistics company, and the freight will be adjusted accordingly due to the actual weight of the purchased goods.

Q: When can the goods be shipped after successful payment?

A: Special circumstances include: after consumers purchase goods on Cross-border Link, compared with the direct delivery process of general e-commerce, merchants on Cross-border Link have an additional step of declaring the entry of goods to the customs. After the declaration is released, the goods will be shipped by logistics. On the one hand, adding a regulatory department is conducive to ensuring the quality of goods, but at the same time, it also delays the normal delivery time.

Q: Will the two special areas, "Direct Sales from the Origin" and "Imported Goods", both have Chinese labels and QR code information?

A: In the two cooperation modes of the origin direct sales area (direct mail + free trade), there are no Chinese labels on the outside of the package and the product itself, but there will be QR code information.

B: In the free trade model under the imported goods area, Cross-border will put Chinese labels on the outside of the package and the goods themselves, as well as the corresponding QR code information.

4. Product/after-sales service related issues

Q: Why was a certain product visible on the K-Link website before, but is no longer available?

A: The products are provided by merchants and displayed on Cross-border E-Commerce. If the products have been removed from the shelves, they may have been sold out or the merchants are making product adjustments. It is recommended that you pay attention to the relevant products again later.

Q: How much better of a discount can I get when buying goods on the K-GO website than in a brand’s physical store?

A: All products displayed on the K-Link website are genuine products. They have great advantages over traditional general imports in terms of logistics, tariffs, and import links. The prices are about 30% lower than those in physical stores. Consumers are advised to purchase with confidence.

Q: I saw a ***** product on the Kuaishou website. The product title and the specific product information displayed are inconsistent. Why are the displayed information different?

A: The products are provided by merchants and displayed on Cross-border E-Commerce. If there are errors in the product descriptions and pictures, please feedback the product name and model to the merchant. The relevant department will adjust it. Consumers are advised not to purchase for the time being.

Q: What if there are some problems with the purchased goods and I need a partial or full refund?

A: After the merchant agrees to the refund, it will initiate a refund application to the third-party payment. The general refund period is 10 days (the refund time of each bank varies). For cross-border e-commerce retail imported goods returned within 30 days from the date of customs release, you can apply for a tax refund and adjust your personal annual transaction amount accordingly. The above return process will be implemented on April 8, 2016.

Q: Can I return the product if I am not satisfied with it?

A: Overseas merchants on Cross-border e-commerce all provide formal return channels for goods in mainland China. After consumers and sellers reach an agreement, they can return the goods to a designated location in mainland China, ensuring that consumers' after-sales service is guaranteed and they can enjoy a worry-free shopping experience throughout the entire process.

Q: Will a tax invoice be provided after purchasing the goods?

A: According to the General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 26 of 2016, "The orderer is the taxpayer. The e-commerce enterprise, e-commerce trading platform enterprise or logistics enterprise registered with the customs shall be the tax collector and pay the tax on behalf of the orderer." Given that the customs only issues tax bills to e-commerce enterprises, e-commerce trading platform enterprises or logistics enterprises, in order to facilitate individual Cross-border Communication users to quickly query and verify the cross-border trade e-commerce comprehensive tax (referred to as cross-border trade tax), the Cross-border Communication platform will separately list the amount of cross-border trade tax payable in the order.

Q: Do I need an invoice for my purchase? Or what other proof can I provide after I purchase something?

A: Since these are overseas products, the merchant does not provide invoices. The merchant's products are registered with the customs to ensure that all products displayed on the website are authentic. Please rest assured.

Q: Do merchants on the Cross-Border Link platform support unconditional returns and exchanges within 7 days?

A: No; if you encounter any quality issues with the product, you can consult the merchant for coordination.

5. Issues related to logistics and distribution

Q: There is no *** Express outlet in the local area for the goods I purchased. How can I solve the delivery problem?

A: If direct delivery service is not available in your area, you can choose a logistics company outlet in the nearest city. When the purchased goods arrive at the pick-up point, the pick-up point will call the customer to pick them up.

Q: What is the specific delivery process for Cross-border Express/Merchants?

A: After the consumer successfully pays, the merchant and the logistics company will report the order to the regulatory authorities. After the declaration and tax payment are successful, the logistics company will arrange delivery. For details, please consult the actual delivery logistics company. (The direct mail mode is that the merchant directly ships overseas, not through the free trade zone warehouse)

Q: I just placed an order for products under two modes from the same merchant. During checkout, it showed that the order was split. How many times do I need to pay for shipping?

A: When settling on the merchant website, there will be corresponding prompts on the website. If a customer has two types of cooperation models in one order, the customer needs to make multiple payments for multiple orders. Similarly, the shipping fee also needs to be split and paid multiple times.

Q: Why is the direct mail shipping cost more expensive than the free trade shipping cost?

A: Goods purchased under the direct mail model are shipped from abroad, and goods purchased under the free trade model are shipped from the Shanghai Free Trade Zone in China. In comparison, the freight for goods shipped from abroad is definitely higher than that for domestic goods. The specific price is determined based on the quotation of the third-party logistics company, and the freight will be adjusted accordingly due to the actual weight of the purchased goods.

Q: I cannot find the product's logistics information (waybill number) on the Cross-Border Link website or the merchant's website. Where can I find it?

A: If you successfully place an order, you can obtain the relevant logistics information and waybill number in the "Personal Order Inquiry" on the merchant website.

Q: Which logistics companies does K-GO cooperate with?

A: The logistics companies cooperating with the Cross-Border Platform mainly include UPS, TNT, DHL, OCS, SF Express, Shanghai Post, YTO Express, STO Express, ZTO Express, Yunda Express, Rufengda Express, etc.; merchants can independently choose logistics companies to provide services for domestic consumers.

6. Online payment issues

Q: Do I need to activate my bank card before making online payments?

A: Hello, before making online payment, you need to activate a bank card online or at a bank counter.

Q: Are there any limits on bank payments?

A: To ensure the security of online payment, banks will set limits on the payment limits of merchants or bank card users. Please refer to the payment help of each bank. It is recommended that you ask about the limit standards when applying for online payment at the bank, or call the hotline of your bank card issuing bank for consultation.

Q: What are the reasons for payment failure?

A:

1) The bank card you hold is not within the geographical area supported by the bank; (Please change the bank card to pay)

2) The bank card has not yet opened the online payment function; (please open it in time according to the opening methods of each bank)

3) The bank card has expired, been invalidated, or has been reported lost; (please go to the bank counter to re-apply)

4) Insufficient balance in bank card; (please recharge in time)

5) The bank card number, password or ID number you entered does not match; (Please re-enter the correct card number or password. If you forget your password, please bring your bank card and your valid ID to the bank counter to reset your password.)

6) Bank system data transmission is abnormal (please try again later)

7) Exceeding the bank payment limit (please call the bank's customer service hotline to inquire about how to increase the payment limit)

Q: How do I know if my online payment is successful?

A: Generally, after each online payment is successfully processed, the issuing bank will prompt you with the words "Payment successful".

Q: After making an online payment, I cannot see the words "Payment Successful" for some reason. How do I know whether the online payment is successful?

A: After making an online payment, you may not see the "Payment Successful" prompt even though the payment has been successful due to a problem with the network connection when the customer made the payment. In this case, you can check the following two ways:

Log in to the website of the issuing bank and check the transaction details in your account center to confirm whether the deduction has been successful. (If the payment amount exceeds 1,000, the transaction record may not be available until the second working day) Contact the customer service phone number of the payment platform you selected for inquiry

Q: Does Cross-border Link currently support overseas bank card payments?

A: Sorry, Cross-border Link does not support overseas card payments at the moment.
