Another postponement! Google will extend the resumption of work to January next year!

It is learned that Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced in a blog post on Tuesday that the resumption of work will be postponed to January 10 next year. This is also the third time that Google has extended the resumption of work.

In December last year, Google announced that the resumption of work would be postponed to September 1 this year, and employees were also required to work at least three days a week. In July this year, Google again announced that the resumption of work would be extended to October 18, and employees returning to the office must be vaccinated.

Several other large tech companies are also reassessing their return-to-work plans due to the rapid spread of the highly contagious Delta virus, including Amazon, Facebook and Apple.

Pichai said that after January 10, they will decide when to end working from home based on the wishes of employees and notify them at least 30 days in advance. Google is also constantly adjusting its workplace policies related to the epidemic based on the advice of local government health experts.
