Inventory of recent recall events! The United States recalls many Chinese-made products!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently recalled a number of "Made in China" products.

1. LUXE+WILLOW electric blanket

On April 21, CPSC announced the recall of LUXE+WILLOW brand electric blankets because the blankets could overheat if left plugged in for long periods of time, posing a risk of fire and burns.

It is understood that the electric blankets were sold in TJ Maxx, Urban Outfitters and other stores in the United States from January to March 2022, priced at about $40, and about 4,200 were sold. At present, CPSC has received 3 reports of overheating of the blankets, including a report of wrist burns.

2. Norwex Ceramic Knife

On April 21, the CPSC announced a recall of Norwex brand ceramic knives because the handles could break during use, posing a risk of cuts.

The recalled ceramic knives were reportedly sold in the United States and Canada. The products were given away as gifts between January and February 2022, provided free of charge by Norwex, with approximately 40,000 pieces given away.

Norwex has received 188 incident reports, including 158 reports of broken handles, 30 reports of damaged knives, and no reports of injuries.

3. The Red League Children's Pajamas

Also on April 21, CPSC announced the recall of The Red League children's pajamas because they did not meet flammability standards and posed a risk of burns to young children.

According to reports, these pajamas were sold at https://theredleague.com/, Elle Ella Boutique store in California, and JellyBeans store in New York from November 2020 to February 2022, with prices ranging from US$38 to US$40, and approximately 910 pieces were sold.

It is understood that this recall involves three styles of children's pajamas: red one-piece pajamas, made of 80% cotton and 20% polyester; red two-piece pajamas (made of 80% cotton and 20% polyester); yellow two-piece pajamas (made of 95% cotton and 5% polyester).
