Many Canadian products have been recalled! Available on Amazon and other platforms

It is learned that recently, the Canadian Ministry of Health issued a recall notice for a number of products sold in Canada, involving multiple categories such as children's car seats, face painting sets, children's pajama sets, and contact lenses.

1. Child car seat products

Health Canada has recalled several child car seat products sold at Walmart, including Camland, WJSXC and ZAXARRA brand child car portable seats and booster seats. These products have not obtained the National Safety Mark certification from Transport Canada, do not meet the safety requirements of motor vehicle restraint systems and booster seats, and pose serious safety hazards.

The recall is for 100 units sold in Canada and is sold through Walmart Marketplace. No reports of accidents or injuries have been received related to the product. The Ministry of Health recommends that consumers stop using the product immediately and dispose of it safely.

2. Face and body painting tricolor palette

Health Canada has also recalled a face and body paint palette sold by Amazon because it contained lead levels that exceeded the guidelines for heavy metal impurities in cosmetics, posing a chemical hazard. Consumers should stop using the product and return it to Amazon.ca for a full refund.

3. SWOMOG Kids Two-Piece Pajama Set

In addition, the SWOMOG children's two-piece pajama sets sold on Amazon have been recalled by Health Canada due to the risk of burns to children. A total of 85 paint sets and 7 pajama sets were sold. As of August 20, no accidents or injuries have been reported due to the use of the product. Health Canada recommends that consumers immediately stop using the recalled sets, destroy them, send photos of the destroyed products to SWOMOG, and return them to Amazon.ca for a full refund.

4. Alcon Laboratories Inc. Contact lens products

Health Canada has also recalled several Alcon contact lens products sold through Costco because they contain eye irritants that may cause temporary eye redness or blurred vision. These include Total1 1-Day Disposable Astigmatism Contact Lenses, Total30 (Lehfilcon A) Soft Contact Lenses, and Delefilcon A Multifocal Soft Contact Lenses. Consumers should immediately stop using and return the products for a full refund.
