Steam China

On June 11, 2018, Perfect World Co., Ltd. (002624), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Perfect World Zhengqi (Shanghai) Multimedia Technology Co., Ltd. and Perfect World Games Co., Ltd., and Valve Corporation of the United States jointly announced that they would start cooperation on the "STEAM China" project based on their existing partnership. The project will provide Chinese gamers and developers with a new channel to access the rich and colorful games and entertainment products on STEAM. The two parties did not announce the launch time of STEAM China.

On August 5, 2018, Perfect World STEAM China will be established in Pudong, Shanghai, forming an industrial cluster to promote the exchange between Chinese games and overseas markets.
