Amazon recalls over 30,000 fans due to risk of cutting! 6 injuries reported

It is learned that on March 7, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of a stroller fan sold by Nuby due to the risk of cutting injuries.

The recalled products involve the Nuby stroller fan, which has three speeds, an adjustable tripod and a rechargeable USB port for use by infants and toddlers. The plastic fan is black, with the Nuby brand name printed in the center of the front of the fan, and the batch number N8K10X and model number 25138 printed on a white label in the center of the back of the fan.

Between May and June 2024, approximately 33,600 units of the product were sold on Amazon.com, us.nuby.com, and at Baby Express, Burlington Coat Factory, Target, and Unique Photo stores nationwide for approximately $15. The CPSC noted that there is a laceration hazard because infants' fingers can come into contact with the fan blades. Luvn'care has received seven reports of children's fingers coming into contact with the fan blades, resulting in six injuries.

The CPSC said consumers should immediately stop using the recalled stroller fans and contact Luvn'care to learn how to return the product for a free replacement. Luvn'care is directly contacting all known purchasers.
