Postal parcels include registered and surface mail services, which can be sent to various postal outlets around the world; the registered service rate is slightly higher, and online tracking and inquiry services can be provided. China Post Air Mail will not incur tariffs or customs clearance fees when it leaves the country, but import tariffs may be incurred when it is imported into the destination country, which varies according to the customs tax laws of each country (compared to other commercial express delivery, air parcels can avoid tariffs to the greatest extent).



Shipping Requirements


1. Specification restrictions: weight not exceeding 2KG; non-cylindrical goods: length + width + height ≤ 90CM, single side length ≤ 60CM, length ≥ 14CM, width ≥ 9CM; cylindrical goods: twice the diameter + length ≤ 104CM, single side length ≤ 90CM, twice the diameter + length ≥ 17CM, length ≥ 10CM; clear recipient address and zip code; please fill in the customs declaration form and package cover in accordance with regulations, and the declared items must be in Chinese and English.


2. Product restrictions: It is prohibited to mail items that are prohibited from mailing and exporting according to national regulations; it is prohibited to mail dangerous, explosive, radioactive, and flammable items; fresh animals and plants and perishable products cannot be mailed.

Delivery time


If you send the package to the post office before 12 noon on the same day, you can usually check the status of the package on the China Post official website after 8 pm. The shipping time is roughly:


1. 5-10 days to neighboring Asian countries.


2. 7-15 days to major countries in Europe and America.


3. 7-30 days for other regions and countries.


Instructions


1. China Post Air Parcel can only be posted with the China Post customs declaration form, not the Hong Kong Post customs declaration form;


2. The recipient's name and address must be filled in completely in English;


3. The contents, quantity, weight and value on the China Post Small Parcel Declaration Form must be filled in by the customer;


4. Please sign your Chinese name at the sender's signature area on the China Post Small Parcel Declaration Form;


5. The packaging should be intact and not easily damaged. Except for the address label, try not to have other irrelevant labels on the outside of the packaging bag. For fragile items, it is best to have a fragile item mark on the outer packaging and an address label in the middle of the front of the parcel.


Disclaimer


1. Loss or damage caused by inherent defects or essential components of the consignment; or customs detention or customs clearance delay caused by the destination customs authorities due to suspected illegality of the shipment; wrong commodity description, wrong declaration, under-declaration or other reasons leading to the confiscation, destruction, seizure or detention of the shipment, etc.;


2. Improper packaging causes shipment delay or damage;


3. Changes to the recipient's name or address or re-posting of unsuccessfully delivered items may cause delivery delays and failure to complete this additional service;


4. The mail is well sealed and shows no signs of being tampered with when it is delivered, and the recipient has signed for it in accordance with the prescribed procedures, but the recipient later discovers that the contents are missing or damaged;


5. Delays, losses or damages caused by natural disasters, political factors, industrial unrest, nuclear explosions or wars.


Return issues


If the overseas delivery address of a postal parcel is incorrect or the recipient refuses to receive it, the mail can be returned from abroad to the sender's address. Generally, no postage will be incurred for the return, and the sender can pick up the mail at the post office after the return.


Compensation


1. If ordinary mail is lost, no compensation will be obtained; in countries such as Italy and Nigeria, the rate of package loss is very high, so it is best to choose registered mail or express delivery.


2. Compensation will be based on the declared value, but not more than HKD 320. The postage will be refunded, but the registration fee will not be refunded.


Insurance Services


Postal parcels can provide insurance services. You can apply for insurance at the post office. The rates are low and the procedures are convenient. For specific premiums, please consult China Post or the insurance company.
