FBM Disadvantages and Corresponding Solutions

In the last post, I shared with you "How advanced Amazon operations deal with the pain points of FBA!" This time, I will teach you how to solve the pain points of FBM!

Disadvantages 1. FBM-delivered listings may not get the shopping cart, and the product conversion rate is greatly reduced.

Solution:

a. FBM-delivered listings have a certain chance of getting the shopping cart. It is recommended that sellers repeat several listings with different copywriting.

b. Place a few orders with super high discounts or low prices , and the golden shopping cart will be delivered to your door.

Disadvantage 2. FBM delivery takes a long time and there are many logistics disputes. Sellers need to pay attention to the background performance indicators at all times. If you are not careful, the store status will turn red!

Many novice sellers must have tasted a lot of sweetness when they started to do Amazon FBM, but with the increase in logistics delays and customer refund cases, exclamation marks began to appear on the store's performance indicators, and sellers became more and more passive. Finally, they were warned and their sales rights were closed because they could not improve their performance. So how can novice sellers do a good job of FBM delivery?

Solution:

a. Before starting FBM shipments, new sellers must fully learn and understand Amazon’s requirements for FBM sellers , understand the algorithms for various assessment indicators, and make product layouts in advance. This is key.

b. New sellers should evaluate the longest logistics time that customers can wait based on the characteristics of their products and choose the appropriate logistics method for delivery (for example, Mother's Day is the second Sunday in May, and the logistics method chosen by the seller should ensure that customers can receive the items before the holiday, otherwise customers are likely to initiate a return request or even give a bad review because they did not receive the goods).

c. New sellers must fill in the logistics tracking number in time within the delivery time set in the background. If the product cannot be shipped due to procurement issues, the seller can send a small gift to the customer to try to ensure that the tracking number is uploaded in time, and send a letter to the customer on the site to explain the situation.

d. Check the logistics tracking number regularly and inform customers of the delivery status and expected delivery time. If you find that the package cannot arrive within the promised delivery time or is delayed or lost, you should send a message to the customer in time to ask for understanding and proactively provide solutions. Resolve unnecessary disputes and nip problems in the bud.
