Amazon Logistics (FBA) has launched the Remote Fulfillment with FBA program. With this program, sellers can save themselves the tedious operation of managing logistics in three countries at the same time, focus on sales operations, and easily tap into Canada and Mexico to expand sales opportunities! Applicable sites Canada and Mexico English Remote Fulfillment with FBA Implementation time September 2020Basic IntroductionPrime Day peak season sales are approaching. In order to simplify cross-border sales, Amazon US launched the FBA remote delivery program, allowing sellers to use US FBA inventory to deliver orders from Canada and Mexico. Amazon said that when sellers create product orders on Amazon Canada and Mexico, the platform will set them as Prime-eligible products and ship the orders to buyers in these two countries. Through FBA's remote delivery, Canadian and Mexican sellers can save themselves from managing multi-country inventory, cross-border logistics, and import tariffs. Here’s how it works:1. Any product order created by the seller on Amazon.ca or Amazon.com.mx will be automatically extracted from the seller's US inventory, unless the product is already in a fulfillment center in Canada or Mexico. Amazon will inform the seller which ASINs meet the requirements. 2. Import duties will be borne by the buyer and will be included as part of the purchase price. 3. Orders from Amazon sellers are shipped directly to buyers in Canada and Mexico. Delivery costsCalculate Shipping WeightStandard size: Add the packaging weight to the product weight. Round the total weight of each unit to the nearest whole pound. Large Standard-Size Units, Small Oversized Units, Medium Oversized Units, and Large Oversized Units over 1 lb: Add the packaging weight to the greater of: unit weight or dimensional weight. Dimensional weight is the unit's volume (length x width x height) divided by 139. Round the total weight of each unit to the nearest whole pound. Note: Product weight, dimensions, and other measurements used to calculate fees are determined by Amazon and may vary depending on packaging. Dimensions may vary depending on packaging type. 1Package weight refers to the weight of the box and packaging materials. Amazon uses these standardized weight values to calculate shipping weight. 2Product weight refers to the weight of a single item. 3For large standard-size units weighing more than 1 pound and all small oversized, medium oversized, and large oversized units, Amazon uses the dimensional weight when it is greater than the unit weight. Buyer returnsRemote delivery customer returns are processed the same way as local Amazon Logistics returns. Customer returns will be sent back to the United States and are subject to the Amazon Logistics Customer Return Policy. Amazon will charge an FBA return processing fee for the following categories for which Amazon provides free return shipping: ▼Clothing ▼Watches Jewelry ▼Shoes, handbags and sunglasses ▼Luggage References |
