Amazon Listing Image Rules: The Logic of Hot Selling

Amazon Listing Image Rules: The Logic of Hot Selling

Today I will tell you about the underlying logic of Listing picture production, and I hope you can master the rules of popular pictures.

Listing first picture rules
1. The product must fill at least 85% of the image. The image must only show part of the product to be sold and cannot contain other props, trademarks, watermarks or embedded images. The text content contained in the image can only be product information.
2. The main image is a photo of the product with a pure white background (not a drawn image)
3. When scaling the image, the longest side should be at least 1000 * 1000 pixels, and the shortest side should be at least 500 pixels.
4. The longest side of the image cannot exceed 10,000 pixels.
5. JPEG format is preferred, but TIFF and GIF formats can also be used.

Listing first picture taboo

1. Do not misuse official logos: This includes but is not limited to AMAZON, PRIME, ALEXA or Amazon Smile designs.

2. Official logos cannot be used: including but not limited to "Amazon Choice", "Best Sellers" or "Hot Selling Products"

3. Product images should be clear and free of jagged or serrated edges. ——What points do customers pay attention to in the secondary image? How to optimize it? What parameters and attributes of our products should the secondary image show?

Here’s the basic and well-loved formula:

Functional diagram + close-up diagram + detail diagram + dimension diagram + scene diagram + packaging diagram

Functional diagram: Display all the functions and attributes of the product at one time, so that customers can understand your product at a glance.

Detailed pictures and internal structure pictures: magnify some small details in the product to allow customers to have a deeper understanding of your product.

In addition, it would be even better if some electronic products have the following internal structure diagram, which will not only make your product look high-end but also reassure customers about your product.

Dimensional drawings or product weight drawings: When observing the product dimension drawings, you will often find that 80% of sellers will clearly mark the product dimensions in cm or inches. But who would have thought that customers would not have much idea when looking at those dimension drawings? As sellers, imagine how much idea you would have in your mind when looking at those clearly marked dimension drawings? Therefore, it is recommended that sellers compare your products with some small items as much as possible, so that people can see more intuitively and have a clear idea in mind. Of course, the same applies to weight drawings.

Scenario map: Give the product context and make customers feel as if they are in the product.

Packaging picture: If your product packaging is pretty, it is recommended to put it on. Otherwise, you don't need to do this. Sometimes using too much force will backfire.
