This morning, many sellers discovered that there was a problem with Amazon's backend. The entire shipment page could not be opened at all, and it kept going in circles or simply reported an error. The impact this time is very large, and almost every seller in our group is reporting this problem. The error message displayed, "A large number of visits to the page," is very worrying. The last time this error appeared was in July, when Amazon temporarily decided to restrict shipments. At that time, because the news was leaked in advance, a large number of sellers were scrambling to create shipping plans , fearing that they would not be able to build them after the official news came out. In the end, the shipping page crashed, and no one could get in. When it crashed, it also prompted a large number of visits. So when the same error message appeared this time, sellers could not only speculate whether the big sellers had received some internal news about shipping, but also created shipment placeholders in advance to prevent the goods from being shipped after the policy was implemented. However, I did not find any news about shipping restrictions after searching around. Instead, I found that many sellers reported that shipments were seriously split into warehouses in the past two days. Many sellers are trying to switch shipping addresses and create shipments multiple times to reduce the number of warehouses. This may also be the reason for the large number of access errors today. As of this afternoon, some sellers' shipping pages have returned to normal. There are still no official changes related to the shipping policy. Moreover, because it was explained when the shipping restrictions were announced in July last time that the shipping restrictions will continue until the end of the year, if Amazon wants to increase the restrictions, it only needs to secretly change the limit quantity in the background. It will not suddenly announce that the goods cannot be shipped like in March and July, so sellers can rest assured for the time being. Although there may not be much to worry about in terms of shipping recently except for warehouse overflow and timeliness, there is another thing that is also undercurrent. Recently, a large number of stores on several Amazon North American sites have had their sales rights removed due to being associated , and many of them have never even done so. Is Amazon investigating its connections? In the past two days, I have seen several times in the forum and our own seller communication group that sellers have come out to ask about receiving official emails notifying them that their stores have been deactivated, and the stores that have been deactivated are usually the Canadian or Mexican stores (a small number are European stores), and the reasons given for the deactivation are all related. I have asked several sellers in our group who were affected. Many of them were mainly doing business in the US site, and opened a Mexican/Canadian site by the way. Some even just synchronized and did not do anything else. They also received the association letter. (Add WeChat ID: zyqmda to join the group). The strange thing is that some of the sellers who were affected have opened Mexican/Canadian sites for a long time , and they should have been associated long ago. They were not associated until now, and they were associated in batches . I guess the account merchants are to blame for this. In theory, the three North American sites, Mexico, Canada, and the United States, are integrated. If one of them is linked, it is very likely to affect the stores of the other two sites. So don’t worry about the Mexico/Canada site being blocked just because you are doing it by the way, because it is still possible that the United States site will be affected as well . |
