Multiple sellers have been repeatedly complained about maliciously! It turns out that the same person is attacking them indiscriminately

A very strange situation has occurred in the past two days. Many sellers in different categories have reported that they have suddenly received infringement complaints, and the malicious and repeated attacks were initiated by the same email address!

The email address used for this complaint is [email protected] . The reasons for the complaint are all about counterfeit infringement. Moreover, this person will not just file a one-time complaint and will file repeated complaints. Some victimized sellers said that they were complained about at least 18 times.

The sellers who were maliciously attacked also tried to contact the other party to resolve the problem, but this email address was directly set to reject emails, which clearly showed that the intention was to cause trouble for the sellers.

What is very strange is that the situations of each company complained against are different. Some have done brand registration but have nothing to do with the trademark submitted by the complainant, and their listings do not involve infringing words. However, they were successfully complained and their products were temporarily removed from the shelves, requiring the sellers to appeal.

What’s even more amazing is that there are products that are sold without brand registration. Neither the title nor the description has any brand words. They are unbranded products, but they were also successfully reported and removed from the shelves!

Moreover, the categories of the sellers who were complained about are very different. There must be no appearance patents among so many categories being complained about by the same account, but there are no sensitive words either. This is very strange. How did the complaint succeed?

This situation is quite special because the matter is quite serious. Generally, Amazon will have a certain degree of manual review for such infringement complaints. If it is determined that there is no infringement on the product and listing page content, it will be difficult to file a successful complaint. The European customer service will directly notify you that "the submitted complaint content is inaccurate or invalid."

Now it is this person, no matter if it is a maliciously competitive seller or a service provider stirring up trouble, it is very suspicious that the complaint can be successful without involving sensitive words such as appearance patents and brand names.

Moreover, when Amazon handles these complaints, it will also consider the number of times you have complained about other companies. If you lodge complaints too frequently, they will also be subject to Amazon's risk control . Therefore, even if it is a malicious attack, ordinary people cannot carry out this operation. The manipulators behind it must have taken advantage of some platform loopholes, which may be internal channels or some special complaint methods.

After collecting some feedback from sellers, I found that the sellers who were complained about were all from European sites , mostly in Italy, and there were also victimized sellers in Germany and France. However, I have not seen similar situations in the United States so far. It is possible that the loopholes exploited by the mastermind behind the scenes are limited to the European site.

At the end of last year, it was widely rumored in the industry that when filing infringement complaints on the European site, using a local European registered entity to file a complaint would result in a high success rate and processing efficiency. Combined with the fact that filing too many complaints would also be subject to risk control, it can be said that when handling infringement cases within the European site, it is not simply based on "whether the infringement case is established" as the only criterion , but many factors unrelated to the infringement itself are considered . This complex processing system is easy for people to find loopholes and exploit them.

The indiscriminate malicious attacks that exploit loopholes have already angered the cross-border community. I have found some trademark information that the masterminds behind the scenes use to file complaints against others. Information such as the trademark owner and registration time can be seen. I hope everyone will forward and spread it so that the masterminds behind the scenes can stop in their tracks after seeing it!
