Walmart+ subscriptions exceed 32 million! 33% of members earn more than $100,000 a year!

According to a monthly survey of consumers by a stock research company, Walmart+ has 32 million members just one year after its launch, of which 61% have an annual income of more than $50,000 and 33% have an annual income of $100,000 or more.

According to the survey, about 25% of respondents signed up for Walmart+ in June and July. This is an increase from previous months, when penetration hovered around 19%. In addition, a whopping 86% of Walmart+ users currently say they also have an Amazon Prime membership.

It is reported that the annual fee of Walmart+ is US$99, while Amazon Prime is US$119. Although the annual fee of Walmart+ is more advantageous, Amazon's Prime members can enjoy more benefits, including free shipping, as well as video, music, games and book streaming.

Walmart CEO Doug McMillon said the company is focused on customer experience rather than the number of users. First, Walmart must expand its production capacity to meet more orders.

To do this, Walmart is converting dozens of its stores into small warehouses equipped with high-tech automated systems to help employees pick and pack items and speed up delivery efficiency.
