Suwen Data went bankrupt? Employees collectively demanded their wages and the sellers panicked

Today, we learned that the parent company of Piseer, a popular product selection software last year, has declared bankruptcy. Many employees are collectively demanding their wages and requesting arbitration from the Arbitration Court. Sellers who have paid annual fees are complaining and are preparing to claim compensation for their rights.

According to information obtained by the Zhihu forum, a person who claimed to be a "representative of those owed wages by Suwen Data" published an article titled "Suwen Data Technology maliciously owed wages, and employees were threatened by their boss Yan Peng." The article explained the general cause of the incident as follows:

The "representative of the company that was asked about wage arrears" stated that since half a month's salary was paid in November 2018, no salary was paid until January 23, 2019, and all kinds of excuses and deceptions were started. When the deception failed, the company even "played dead" and ignored the employees. The employees were left with no choice but to go to the Arbitration Court for arbitration.

It is understood that there are as many as forty or fifty employees who are owed wages, with a total amount of nearly 3 million yuan (wages + compensation).

The employees in the group have been @the boss asking for an explanation. The boss, Yan Peng, had a positive attitude at first, but later he ignored the employees' questions and even threatened to sue the troublemakers.

Yan Peng responded:

Later, an employee reported:

Another employee said:

Finally, these employees who were demanding their wages were left with nowhere else to go and had to go to court to request arbitration, and they said the trial would be held at the end of the month.

It is also known that many cross-border e-commerce sellers are using the software tools developed by Pai Shi, a subsidiary of Suwen Data Technology. Therefore, this news has attracted the attention of many people in the industry, and some sellers have even said that "the company to which Pai Shi belongs is going to go bankrupt and the software cannot be used anymore."
