Supply Chain Connect Project Introduction

1. Sellers can send this invitation email to suppliers, who can then register to access the “Supply Chain Connect” portal and communicate directly with Amazon about their shipment requirements.

2. Sellers can choose to require suppliers to use logistics providers. For example, in the case of "Small parcel delivery (SPD) / I'm shipping individual boxes", sellers can choose logistics providers including: "Amazon Partnered Carrier", UPS and FedEx are both optional cooperative carriers, or choose "I'd like to use my own", other logistics providers.

Advantages

1. Supplier portal: Provide a supplier portal. After the seller sends an invitation email to the supplier, the supplier can register for the portal;

2. Faster warehousing: Suppliers can enter packing information and download FBA product labels without having to communicate back and forth with sellers, shortening delivery time;

3. Better performance: There are tools to help suppliers complete shipments more accurately and better understand Amazon’s warehousing process.

Sellers worry that the program will bring suppliers closer to Amazon and could ultimately lead to the platform cutting out sellers as unnecessary middlemen.
