Nordstrom traditionally has 5 specific discount events each year.

Four of these are mid-year sales, with different departments having specific promotions.

Mid-year sales for women and children are held in May and November, and mid-year sales for men are held in mid-June and late December. Nordstrom's biggest sales event is the Anniversary Sale, which is usually held in July every year (don't miss it!).

A limited number of items set to release in the fall will be delivered to Nordstrom early and sold at deep discounts.

Ten days before the anniversary sale, Nordstrom VIP members can make an appointment with sales staff to purchase promotional items in advance.
