What are Value-Added Services? Value-Added Services Review
In the United States , express delivery companies have a Value-Added Services , which is an additional service. On the basis of completing the basic logistics functions, various extended business activities are provided according to customer needs.

Specific introduction

1. Delivery Confirmation, that is, the delivery notice, the courier only needs to deliver the express. If there is no one at the address or cannot provide a signature, the courier has the right to hide the express near your home and mark it as signed for.

2. Signature Required. This level requires a living person to see the courier, whether it is your neighbor or the apartment manager. As long as someone can provide the courier with a signature, the courier will complete the task. Purchasing this level of service means that the courier must go upstairs and knock on the door.

3. The highest level of service is Adult Signature Required, which requires an adult signature. This level requires an adult at least 21 years old to sign for the package with his or her ID at the courier's address. It is generally used to send more expensive items, such as cameras, computers, gold bars, etc. If the courier cannot find the recipient in the latter two levels of service, he or she will leave a Door Tag on your door to remind you that you have an unsigned package.

4. Another type is when the U.S. recipient is not available, there will be a: Your-Missed-Delivery-and-the-Info-Notice

Generally speaking, a parcel will be delivered three times. After three times, you need to take your ID to the courier service outlet on DoorTag to pick up the parcel. If you do not pick it up, the parcel will generally be returned to the sender after 7 days. You can also authorize the courier on DoorTag to drop the parcel that needs to be signed for at the door, and just sign and stick it back on the door.
