The Lucian Bute glove auction took place between 1 and 13 November 2011, and was the most successful initiative of its kind in the site's history and the most high-profile online charity auction in Romania in 2011.

At the end of 2000, there were only 5,000 products for sale on Okazii.ro; in April 2012, that number exceeded 1.4 million.

In the first nine months of 2012, Romanians preferred Okazii.ro on mobile phones and smartphones.

In April 2015, Okazii.ro and Paravion.ro ended their partnership for bidding on travel packages.

In May 2015 the Okazii.ro and Biciclete.ro registries concluded a partnership to increase the origin of products.
