Amazon launches AWD plan to help sellers solve logistics problems

Amazon mentioned in the announcement that inventory storage, distribution and order fulfillment are the major costs for most sellers in their operations, and the processes are complicated. This problem has been further magnified, especially with the skyrocketing logistics costs after the epidemic. High storage prices, complex charging structures and insufficient storage capacity are the pain points for Amazon sellers in the logistics process.

According to Amazon's official information, sellers can use the AWD plan to achieve automatic replenishment, send inventory to the FBA processing center with one click, and get rid of the previous cumbersome and expensive first-leg transportation and warehousing process. In Amazon's words, it is to "ensure that sellers always have the right amount of inventory at the right place and at the right time."

The official press release is a bit difficult to read. It is not clear what Amazon's AWD is, and the official did not provide more information. If it is just shipping to FBA warehouses, isn't there already an official logistics AGL? Since AWD carries the word warehouse, it is not simply transportation.

After collecting some information, I made a preliminary guess that the Amazon AWD plan will be a highly integrated logistics platform.
