What are Japanese tariffs? Japanese tariff review
Japanese tariffs are based on the import tariff rates corresponding to the HS codes of goods .

Fees

Japan's tariff rate is relatively low compared to Europe. It is mainly charged based on the HS code of the product, and the tax rate is generally between 11% and 13%.

Type of Charge

Japan's tariff threshold is also relatively low. The tariff will be levied when the declared amount of goods is 10,000 JPY or above 20KG. There is no minimum threshold for knitted and genuine leather products. Genuine leather shoes are subject to a fixed high tariff of 4,300 JPY per pair.
