Sellers Choice Awards is an event held by EcommerceBytes to rank e-commerce platforms in four key areas: profitability, customer service, communication, and ease of use. The top 10 e-commerce platforms with the highest scores were finally selected. Etsy topped the list for the first time this year in February 2013, followed by Ruby Lane, Amazon, Bonanza and eBay. In February 2014, more than 12,000 sellers participated in EcommerceBytes' fifth annual Sellers Choice event. Bonanza ranked first, followed by Etsy, eBay, Amazon, and Ruby Lane. In February 2015, Etsy once again topped the list. EcommerceBytes held its Sellers Choice Awards in January 2016. eBay’s rating rose from fifth place last year to first place. In January 2017, EcommerceBytes held a Sellers Choice event, inviting more than 10,000 e-commerce sellers to rank the sales platforms they use. Amazon jumped from third place last year to first place. In February 2018, EcommerceBytes, an authoritative American e-commerce news website, announced the winners of its 9th annual Sellers Choice Awards. More than 10,000 sellers participated in the platform selection. Amazon ranked first in the comprehensive score of the above four indicators, followed by eBay, Etsy and Ruby Lane.
