What is Amazon Posts? Amazon Posts Review
Amazon Posts is a new way to browse and discover products on the Amazon platform. It functions similarly to social media tweets, and each brand can publish a series of posts ( currently limited to images) that are curated and controlled by the brand itself.

Amazon Posts Advantages

Amazon Posts will allow brands to replicate their own campaigns on social media channels such as Instagram within the Amazon marketplace. It will help your brand stand out from competitors and get noticed by consumers.

In some ways, it works even better than traditional social media because you’ll be able to share branded, product-focused marketing content on a platform built specifically for business, rather than overtly selling on other platforms.

What’s more, Amazon Posts is currently free to join.

Amazon Posts Location

1. Brand details page carousel

Consumers will see the carousel on every listing page for a brand that has enabled Posts, located above the “question” section and showcasing up to 10 related posts.

2. Brand Summary

Clicking on a brand name in the detail page carousel takes you to the brand feed section for that brand. This is a vertically scrolling section that displays all the posts created by that brand, where consumers can not only read the entire post title but also see the category to which the featured product belongs.

3. Category Summary

By clicking on a post category in the Brand Feed or Related Feed, you can go to all related posts by products belonging to the same category.

4. Page carousel scrolling mode

When a consumer clicks on the “See More” section of an image or post on the “Detail Page Carousel,” they are presented with all the details of that post and all related posts (across brands) in a vertical scrolling mode.

How to join

So far, the Amazon Posts beta version released by Amazon is limited to Amazon US brands, and the beta version has not yet been opened to international brands.

Operation Process

Amazon Post operates through a process from discovery → browsing → shopping.

First, after a brand publishes a product post, the relevant information will be displayed in a brand carousel, and users who click on the post will be brought to the post dynamic display;

Users can continue to browse related post dynamics, or browse posts of related category products;

The post itself has the attribute of immediate shopping, that is, after clicking, you can directly visit the store information and complete the purchase.

Creating the Amazon Post element

Header: Showcases your brand name and logo, displayed at the top of every post.

Imagery: Compelling product images.

Title: Displayed below the product image, visible in two lines, with a character limit of 2,200. It is recommended that it be as short as possible.

Category Tags: Amazon will automatically tag your posts with relevant categories.

Show Products Button: Automatically displays a list of products and ratings when clicked, making it easy to learn more and visit the product page.

Registration Steps

1. Go to posts.amazon.com

2. Log in using your existing Amazon Advertising credentials

3. Create your personal profile

4. Certified brand name

5. Upload your brand logo

Once these steps are complete, you can publish your post by uploading a photo, adding a caption, and relevant product tags.

How to use

1. The functions of Amazon Posts are basically the same as those of social media feeds. So it is recommended that you always publish high-quality content and keep your message consistent with your brand. Regardless of the format, content is still king.

2. Post as much information as possible and often. Currently, there is no limit to the content that can be posted, so fill the related product and product category fields with as much content as possible before others rush in.

3. Take advantage of the metrics Amazon provides you with. Use it to find out if the most popular and engaging products in your tweets are actually converting and what you can do to increase interest in buying them.

View the effect

Amazon provides downloadable data reports that sellers can use to analyze the quality and effectiveness of their posts.
