Founding Origin

LinkAja was jointly established by telecommunications company Telkomsel and banks Mandiri , BRI and BNI . Its launch was initially scheduled for early March 2019 , but was postponed at least three times. The consortium backing the e-wallet also includes bank BTN , oil and gas company Pertamina , and insurance company Jiwasraya .

Basic Introduction

LinkAja is positioned to solve users' all-round needs. LinkAja focuses on core usage scenarios and will not develop its business by burning money like a startup.

LinkAja integrates existing electronic payment services from state-owned enterprises, including Bank Mandiri 's e -cash , Bank Rakyat Indonesia 's T -Bank and My QR , Bank Negara Indonesia 's YAP ! and UnikQu , and Telkomsel 's TCash . As a newcomer to the digital payments space, LinkAja will compete with a host of players in the market, including the leaders in the space, Go-Pay and Ovo , which offer payment services for ride-hailing services.

Main Business

LinkAja focuses on eight business transactions: public transportation including refueling and tolls, mobile online loans, bill payments, retail merchants, e-commerce, donations, remittances, and financial services including loans.
