What is AmazeOwl? AmazeOwl Review

AmazeOwl can help sellers solve problems such as what to sell, which products have low delivery costs, and which products have less competition.

Function

The tool uses a Mac and desktop app, which can help sellers:

1. Get historical sales trend charts of each competitor, including price changes, photo updates, rating changes, review times changes, and even keyword summary recommendations

2. You can add other data sources, including Google Trends, Alibaba Fee Estimates, and FBA Fee Calculator, to analyze competitor statistics

3. It has a search and research function similar to Miku.

How to use

First open AmazeOwl and check the settings, change the price range to the seller’s target price, and change the number of units to be checked to 0 to 500, and set the weight and package size, all other settings remain the same, then click “hunt for products” and “hunt best sellers”:

Next, try typing a keyword under the “potential products” option, such as “wifi body scale” and click the Start Research button:

You will then see how many competitors there are. Sellers can click “competitors and reports” to filter out irrelevant competitors:

For example, the results of the "wifi body scale" study show that there are 8 competitors, and the median number of reviews for the competitor is 445, slightly lower than the original limit of 500. The tool can also be used to obtain the daily sales and revenue of the top 10 competitors, and calculate the sales of the overall product:

FAQ

Q: Is this tool really free, or will sellers be charged at some point in the future?

A: There are some optional in-app purchases within the tool, but the main product search and tracking functionality is free, and the optional paid features have a 10-day free trial.

Q: Where does the forecast data come from? Is it accurate?

A: To maximize accuracy, AmazeOwl's data is averaged from several sources. However, these data are only estimates and should be used more as a guide.

Q: Is AmazeOwl useful for sellers who are just starting to use private label?

A: Of course, it is easy to use and sellers can try multiple product directions at a time.

Q: Is the seller’s personal information and product data safe?

A: AmazeOwl takes the data security of sellers very seriously and uses SSL encryption technology to ensure the security of all data transmission. The tool’s database is also backed up regularly, so if anything unexpected happens, it is easy to restore the product information that the seller is tracking.

Q: How does AmazeOwl compare to other research tools like Jungle Scout?

A: Some of AmazeOwl's features overlap with Jungle Scout, such as searching and tracking products. Unlike Jungle Scout and other tools, AmazeOwl has a more stable and powerful desktop app and integrates more information sources when sellers track products.

Seller reviews

Rnesteroff, a US seller, said: "Overall, AmazeOwl is very accurate and easy to use. It provides more product data analysis. The free version is great and is more popular than paid services such as Jungle Scout. The only downside is that AmazeOwl needs to be opened separately, which is troublesome, unlike the Jungle Scout plug-in version that can be used directly while browsing the web."

Another US seller, ALH, said: “I like the accuracy of this tool’s data. I also used Jungle Scout, but stopped using it after discovering a lot of sales data errors. When I check the BSR ranking, I always turn off the statistics of FBAToolKit and JS. On the contrary, AmazeOwl’s statistics, history, and tracking information give me confidence to purchase products.”

Canadian seller mbanvill said: “This tool is very useful because it:

- Significantly speed up the product selection process;

- Integrate Merchant Words and Google Trends to analyze product demand and market competitors for specific products;

- Market analysis based on competitor numbers and reviews;

- Integrate Alibaba search results for profit analysis;

- Accurate sales/revenue estimates (similar to estimates from FBAtoolkit.com);

- Automated product search based on specific criteria such as sales price, BSR, number of reviews, etc., and submit daily sales reports for matching products.

It couldn’t be better!”
