Founded in 1994, Alza.cz is the largest 3C electronics e-commerce website in the Czech Republic. It is one of the largest online consumer electronics retailers in Central Europe, and has outstanding performance in toys, media and entertainment, perfume, watches, beauty and other fields.

Alza.cz is owned by a group of investors, who control it through the holding company LS Investments Limited, which is based in Cyprus. The CEO and the board of directors is the company's founder, Aleš Zavoral. The company has won numerous awards for its achievements, such as the most trusted electronics store brand, and is on the shortlist of many other brands.


As of 2018, the company has 49 stores and 78 AlzaBoxes in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria. Alza.cz is the largest electronics store in the Czech Republic, with an annual turnover of more than EUR 820 million excluding VAT (CZK 21 billion) in 2017. At the end of 2017, Alza.cz offered about 200,000 products and fulfilled 2.9 million purchase orders.


Alza.cz sells products including home electronics, toys, cosmetics, magazines and sporting goods. The proportion of female netizens is slightly higher than that of male netizens, at 51%. The number of netizens aged 35-49 is the highest, accounting for 34.5% of the total number. Alza.cz has carried out related business in 26 European countries, including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.


Shopping Methods


1. Consumers fill out the form and pay online, and then Alza delivers the goods to their door.


2. After consumers submit their order online, they can go to the Alza pick-up point offline to pay and pick up the goods.


3. Purchase directly from Alza’s offline stores.


B2B Program


1. Overview: B2B program is a service provided by Alza.cz for entrepreneurs, organizations and corporate clients. It is an instant method for dedicated traders, covering inquiries, special offers and daily management needs.


2. Service Content: By entering the B2B program, customers can immediately obtain turnover discounts, due payments, automatic order systems, non-catalog products, financial services, and special B2B offers.


VIP Alza Premium


1. Overview: For consumers who shop frequently, Alza.cz has created a VIP program that brings many benefits to Alza Premium. Once a customer meets the annual turnover threshold of 121,000 CZK (including VAT), the customer will automatically be included in the new VIP Alza Premium program. (Or a membership fee will be charged.)

Development History


-In 1994, the company's founder Aleš Zavoral received a trade license for commercial activities.


- In summer 2010, Alza.cz opened a new logistics center in Prague - Horní Počernice.


-In 2011, Alza received 2 million orders and had a turnover of US$360 million, of which 25% were online orders.


- In October 2015, Alza launched the Alza Premium club program. For an annual fee, Alza Premium members receive free shipping, music, movies, express delivery services, and an extended return period.


- In 2016, Alza.cz launched the Hungarian electronics store.


- In December 2016, Alza.cz exceeded two records: sales of more than CZK 1 billion in one week and purchase orders of more than CZK 200 million in one day.


- In 2017, Alza.cz began selling electric cars from Tesla and other brands. At the same time, Alza.cz has begun accepting Bitcoin as a payment method and is installing Bitcoin ATMs in its branches in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, and Bratislava, the Czech Republic.
