What is AppotaPay? AppotaPay Review

AppotaPay is a subsidiary of digital content producer Appota Group. It was founded in September 2015 and is dedicated to providing payment solutions for the digital entertainment industry . It has now grown to more than 1,000 direct points of sale (POS) and 10,000 indirect POS systems.

Basic Introduction

Appota Payment is part of the Vietnamese mobile platform Appota Group. The company's services include payment gateway, Appota Wallet (electronic wallet), Appota Card (electronic voucher), and online payment assistant for stores.

Fees

AppotaPay charges a 1% to 3% service fee for online banking payment channels and a 3% service fee for credit card payment channels.

Development History

In April 2017, Appota Group announced that it had completed an undisclosed Series C funding round from Korean Investment Partners and Mirae Asset Venture Investment.

In October 2020, the State Bank of Vietnam approved AppotaPay's payment intermediary qualification, allowing AppotaPay to operate and provide electronic payment gateways as well as e-wallet and collection services.
