Practice | 6 ways to expand your Amazon keywords

Next, we can add a minimum search volume of 400, and we can see some keywords that cannot be found in Cerebro.

For example, although the “weird candles” are not highly relevant to my products, I can consider extending the product line in the future.

There are also some other words, such as "Taxidermy butterfly" (butterfly specimen), "cool random things" (cool random products) These are interesting keywords with high search volume. We can collect them into the keyword library and use them when advertising.

Get detailed information about keyword groups

According to incomplete statistics, 95% of sellers using H10 only use Magnet’s “Find Suggestions” dimension. They don’t even know the existence of Magnet’s second dimension. In fact, “Analyze Keywords” is a seriously underestimated function.

For example, "coffin shelf ", "gothic decoration " , "wooden egg tray ", " collagen peptides ", and " garlic press ", which are a group of completely unrelated words.

Click to analyze keywords, and you can see detailed information about these keywords including ABA data, search volume, search volume distribution, title density and more than ten other dimensions.

You can use this feature anytime you are curious about a keyword.

Find the most common root words for popular keywords

After pulling out these keywords, how should we find the root words of these keywords? Here is a practical tutorial:

Click "Add from My-List" to import keywords. Here we have entered more than 150 keywords using Cerebro. Click Analyze Keywords.

Find long-tail keywords that share the same root as your core keyword

As we all know, the number of competitors for long-tail keywords is generally very small, and sometimes it can even be comparable to words with a search volume of 2w+, because the conversion rate of super long-tail words may be higher in comparison.

How to find this type of long-tail keywords, the following is a practical tutorial:

Type "coffin" in Magnet and click to get keywords. Type "Coffin" in the phrase containing the following content. This filter will help you reduce the keywords from 6,000+ to 2,000.

In the results obtained, we sorted them in descending order by search volume, and found that the top ten with the highest search volume were basically coffin-style nails. Obviously, we need to further filter.

The minimum search volume is set to 300, and the maximum title density is set to 4.

As a result, the number of keywords was reduced from more than 2,000 to 74. The keywords we obtained, such as "Coffin zen garden" (personalized Zen garden) and "coffin jewelry box" (personalized jewelry box), performed quite well and we can put them into use according to our actual situation.

Find keywords that may appear in a broad PPC campaign

This type of keyword is similar to high-quality long-tail keywords, and you only need to add a filter to get it.

The following is a practical tutorial:

Enter "coffin decor" ( personalized decoration ) and select the matching model as "smart complete" broad match, and you can filter out 24 keywords containing the words coffin and decor.

For example, “ coffin shaped decor ” is likely to appear in a broad match ad.

See the niche keywords that have been trending over the past 30 days

If you want to know which keywords were the most popular in the past 30 days, you only need one action in Magnet!

The following is a practical tutorial:

Enter the niche keyword "coffin decor" and sort the search volume in descending order to see the keywords with increasing search trends.

For example, the number one search term “goth bedroom” increased by 698% year-on-year, while goth garden increased by 585% year-on-year.

By clicking on the small search volume icon, we found that whether it is Amazon Trends, Google Trends, or Walmart Trends, the trend of this keyword has increased significantly in the past 30 days.
