Amazon's major update! Supports custom templates for bulk uploading of products

In the past two days, Amazon has added a new feature in the "Spreadsheet" of the [Publish Product] page, allowing sellers to use their own customized spreadsheet templates to batch create product information!

In other words, you can use your own form template to upload product information instead of just using the standard template provided by Amazon.

However, please note that currently only Excel and TSV formats are accepted for uploaded files.

This feature is a boon for operations. You will no longer be restricted by the format and field settings of standard templates. The era of using table templates and uploading them over and over again always with errors is finally over!

Moreover, Amazon's AI technology will convert the data in your custom template into a draft of product information that meets the requirements. You only need to check and edit the generated draft.

△ The steps can refer to the following picture:

Even though you can use custom templates, you still need to be aware of:

1. Ensure data accuracy : The product name, description, price, specifications and other product information filled in the form are accurate to avoid product listing problems or subsequent customer disputes due to data errors.

2. Understand the format requirements: The product information finally uploaded must also comply with Amazon's platform requirements, such as character restrictions, special character regulations, required fields, etc. If the format does not meet the requirements, the upload will fail.

3. Check the results in time: If there are error prompts or the requirements are not met, modifications and adjustments must be made as soon as possible based on the feedback.

# Here are 2 small suggestions for operations

1. Test in small batches in advance to confirm that data conversion and information generation are correct before uploading in large batches.

2. To prevent data loss, be sure to back up the original data!!!
