Amazon store association factors and how to prevent association (recommended collection)

Account association is a rule set by Amazon that a seller can only have one store and one Amazon account, and through various data checks and matching association factors, it is determined whether multiple accounts belong to the same seller. It should be noted that account association itself will not cause any problems, but if one of your accounts has a problem, the other associated accounts will be affected and may be:

1. Remove the selling privileges from one or more of your accounts

2. Forced removal of new account listings

3. Close one or more accounts (that is, block the account)

The details are as follows:

1. If the accounts on the same site are associated and there is overlap in the products sold between the accounts, Amazon will force you to remove all listings of the new account.

2. There is no overlap in the products sold on the same site, and the account may continue to exist.

3. If one of the associated accounts on any site is closed, it is only a matter of time before the others are blocked.

It can be seen that the consequences of account association are very serious. Sellers must pay attention to it, remember the association factors in daily operations, and take preventive measures (it is recommended to save it for future use).

Daily management:

Arrange a dedicated person to organize and archive all information and conduct regular checks. If there is any new information, it must be reviewed by a dedicated person.

Network association:

Each store is equipped with an independent broadband network or the computer is equipped with an independent wireless network card. If the network of a store crashes, do not use it again and replace the computer configuration.

Cookies associated with:

A cookie is a simple text file placed on your hard disk by a web server when you browse a website. It can record information such as your user ID, password, web pages you browsed, and length of stay.

Registration information related to:

The registration information of each store must be unique, and there must be a corresponding set of information from the company name, personal name, address, telephone number and email address.

European KYC audit found the following links:

Conduct a detailed check on shareholder information and address and billing information. (Note: Shareholders with a European shareholding ratio of less than 25% can open a new account. Shareholders with a European shareholding ratio of more than 25% need to report to Amazon's European KYC review to find out the connection: review the shareholder information, billing address information)

Multiple accounts for cloud host login management were detected:

One of Amazon's businesses is AWS. It is recommended not to use cloud hosting, as Amazon can easily find connections. Using a standalone computer is safer and more secure.

Ladder software/ladder router association:

When you go to Twitter or YouTube, remember to log out of the Amazon backend to avoid accidental damage.

Do not reuse trademarks and company or personal credit card address information that have been closed due to association with a store.

Password association:

The account and password for each Amazon store must be different.

Address association:

The FBA shipping address cannot be the same as other stores; you cannot register an account with a similar address.

Telephone connection:

One registration number for each store; keep the number unique when opening a case by phone.

Email Association:

The email prefixes cannot be highly similar; the email address used to register the account should not be used as the login account for other websites. The email address used to register the account must be different from the login password of Amazon when used for other websites. The email and backend in-site messages are prohibited from opening suspicious links, forwarding emails, loading images or FLASH objects, otherwise the source IP address can be read (use Gmail's disable email loading function).

Payment association:

Do not receive payments from multiple accounts with the same bank account/P card/WF card/Pingpong.

Image links:

Different stores have different product image names and product shooting angles.

Describe the association:

The title description and detailed description cannot be copied from one store to another, they must be rewritten for each store.

Related to selling:

Many sellers use small accounts to follow the big accounts to sell, or follow each other to sell. The following sales will not be related, but due to the reasons for following the sales, when you have problems, the following sales accounts will also be reviewed.

Brand Registration Association:

The contact information of each registered website must be completely consistent with the trademark registration and Amazon backend store information, which is conducive to passing the registration and avoiding association. (Except for brand authorization)

Same product association:

The products sold in multiple stores are basically the same, so cross-selling is recommended, with the ratio of new to old products being less than 3:7.

Product model association:

All stores sell the same series of products of the company, and they are the same product with the same appearance. Amazon may check your store because of this factor.

Instruction manual related:

Many sellers do not use brand packaging separately due to low product sales, and use the same packaging in multiple stores. At this time, different descriptions are an important factor in proving non-correlation.

After understanding the factors that lead to account association, our sellers can avoid "minefields" in a targeted manner in their daily operations and achieve safe operations:

1. When registering multiple accounts, try to use new email addresses, new computers, new operating systems, new browsers, new routers, new network cables, new phone numbers, new credit cards, new payment accounts, and new products as much as possible, and use physical isolation to prevent the Amazon system from capturing similar factors between accounts.

2. Amazon's associated accounts are determined based on multiple factors. If a single factor is the same, there will be no association. However, if the associated factors accumulate over a long period of time, they will be determined to be associated because of a certain associated factor, and the risk of being determined as an associated account will increase greatly. Therefore, sellers should try to reduce the associated factors.

3. In short, it will be much safer if Amazon believes that multiple accounts are operated by different people in different places.
