Is Amazon's agency operation reliable?


I can only say that maybe 90% of them are not very reliable.

It is impossible for each agency to serve only one of your customers. I have interviewed people who came out of an agency before. As far as I know, each agency will be responsible for a dozen or even dozens of stores.

You can imagine that a person’s energy is limited after all, so how can they manage so many stores and products?

The interviewer told me that they don’t care at all, because they can’t do anything even if they want to. Their energy is limited, so they can only focus on those products that “come out on their own”. In other words, only when a product performs well without any promotion will it come into their sight, and they will put a little more energy into it.

Of course, because the agency companies are exposed to a wide range of products and operating methods, the probability of their promotion is also quite high, but the premise is that our products can stand out on their own and attract enough attention from them. (What do they need to do to make the product successful without much promotion?)

If you want to do it with the mindset of a strong alliance, I advise you to give up. Although the agency company connects with many customers and you can see many products, including different operation methods that can be tested, but because the agency company connects with so many factories and there is no way for them to focus their main energy on you, then there is a high probability that you will fail.

Of course, there are many successful cases, but it cannot be ruled out that it is due to the advantages of the factory’s products, or that it is indeed an operation with stronger operating methods.

If you really want to find one, then here I will tell you what you need to pay attention to when looking for an agency company.

1. Professionalism. An agent operation company cannot just do agent operation. It must be noted that if the agent operation company only does agent operation, then it may be more likely to defraud service fees. The essence of all businesses cannot be separated from the underlying structure. In other words, it needs to be an operating company that transfers to agent operation, and it is not an agent operation company from the beginning.

2. The number of customers served. You should all understand this logic. If I serve one company or five companies, the energy is completely different. At present, I am basically responsible for three stores. If I add a fourth one, it will be very strenuous. (Of course, I am doing boutique operations, not distribution operations), so it depends on the number of stores assigned to the operation company. If the number is too large, it is not very reliable.

3. Do they know your product well enough? Have they ever promoted a product like yours? If they have worked with customers with similar products to yours and have succeeded, then they have experience in promoting it (different products do require different promotion methods). This is more advantageous and more credible.

4. A reliable background and the attitude of the person in charge. This mainly depends on the introduction of him on the Internet, and whether the person in charge of the company is reliable. To a large extent, if the founder (person in charge) is reliable and a decent person, then basically there will be no problem.

The above are basically the main points for screening agency companies. In addition, if we really find a reliable partner company, others will also screen us, which is a two-way process.
