In 2018, turnover increased to 1.3 billion euros. Zooplus AG achieved an e-commerce turnover of 308 million euros in Germany, of which around 250 million euros came from zooplus.de alone.

In September 2018, the online supermarket Zoobee was opened, selling food such as candy, canned food and pasta, coffee and drinks, biological and vegetarian products, medicines and pet supplies.
