Sales volume exceeds 160,000! Domestic children's water cups are urgently recalled!

According to foreign media reports, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently announced the recall of 169,000 children's water cups. The reason for the recall is that the handles of the products may fall off, and children may swallow them by mistake, thus posing a choking hazard.

The recall reportedly involves Lovevery's Inspector Play Kits, which are made of stainless steel, about 2.25 inches high, and can be used by children aged 7-8 months. The following is a picture of the product:

The report said that the recalled cups were all produced in China and imported by Lovevery. These cups were sold on www.Lovevery.com from July 2018 to July 2021 for about $80.

It is understood that the CPSC has received 70 reports of handles falling off, including two reports of children accidentally ingesting them, but there are no reports of choking injuries.

CPSC recommends that buyers immediately keep the cup away from children and stop using the product. The remedy for this product is that buyers need to write "X Recalled X" on the cup, take a picture and upload it to the Lovevery website to replace the cup for free. Cups with safety hazards need to be recycled or discarded in the trash in accordance with local regulations.
