USPS plans to increase prices again! These sellers will be affected!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, the USPS (United States Postal Service) has recently submitted a new price increase plan to the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC), and will implement new rates for some USPS products and services starting July 10, 2022.

The new rate changes reportedly include the following:

The impact of USPS rate increases on e-commerce

The price increase will directly affect online sellers who frequently use First-Class Mail service, typically to ship some cheap and flat items.

The USPS said in the announcement that as inflation and operating expenses increase, the rate increase will help strengthen services for American consumers, including investing $40 billion in postal infrastructure over the next decade. However, even with the rate increase, the USPS will continue to provide the lowest letter postage and transportation value in the industrialized industry.
