The recalled heating pads were sold on Amazon.com and Walmart.com from July 2021 through July 2022 by Whele LLC and have the following model and lot numbers: The model and batch number can be found directly below the product description in black text: The FDA said that Whele LLC has received 286 complaints about overheating, sparks, burning or other electrical problems. Of these, 31 complaints reported injuries such as electric shock, burns, rashes or irritation. The FDA is warning consumers, caregivers and healthcare providers not to use the affected heating pads and to visit the website of Whele LLC to receive a refund if they have already purchased the product.
