Etsy releases July listing category and attribute updates! Introducing a variety of furniture and lighting

It is learned that Etsy recently released the July Listing category and attribute updates, which added multiple subcategories to the lighting, furniture, and shoes and hats categories, changed some subcategory names under the clothing and furniture categories, and deleted three subcategories under the baby category.

The update content is as follows:

Lighting Category

Etsy has added multiple new subcategories for lighting, including garden lights, pathway lights, post lights, step lights, and deck lights.

Furniture Category

Etsy has added new subcategories for furniture, including hall trees, standing coat racks, umbrella stands and filing cabinets.

Shoes and hats category

Etsy has added a new subcategory for shoe and hat accessories: scrub hat supplies.

Unisex clothing

The name of the Unisex Adult Clothing category has been changed to Gender-Neutral Clothing

Utility Room Furniture

The name of the Entryway Furniture category has been changed to Utility Room Furniture

Etsy said it removed three subcategories under the baby category for policy reasons, including baby nests, crib bumpers, and Moses baskets and hammocks, and these items will no longer be available for sale on Etsy.
