The United States has become the market where Amazon is least "involuted"! The more you cut the cake, the bigger it gets!

According to Marketplace Pulse, the United States is currently the least competitive market for Amazon. Despite having the largest number of sellers, the competition is not as fierce as imagined, and almost every active seller in the United States has higher traffic than sellers in other small markets.

Moreover, the US accounts for about half of all Amazon market traffic and more than half of its total GMV, so while Amazon has fewer third-party sellers outside the US, it does not pose a threat to their competitive advantage.

It is not surprising that the United States, Japan, and Germany are among the top five markets in terms of monthly visits by sellers. As we all know, they are Amazon's major international markets. What is surprising is that Turkey and Brazil are also among the top five, because in fact there are not so many sellers in these two markets, but the visits are among the top, and their potential customer base can be imagined.

On the other hand, Amazon's markets in Europe, such as Spain, France and Italy, although not so many consumers, have attracted many sellers due to its pan-European FBA program (Amazon European warehousing service). Singapore, the Netherlands, Sweden and Poland are the most competitive, which are the markets where Amazon has just been online for a short time and their market potential has yet to be developed.

The United States is a huge shopping mecca with extremely favorable competitive advantages. Every year, a group of new sellers find opportunities in this big pie. However, more successful sellers also make the market more challenging. This is a completely healthy competitive environment, and it is also the reason why the Amazon market in the United States is still not saturated.
