Comparing with Prime Day! Target will hold a "Circle Week" promotion!

It is learned that, consistent with previous predictions, Amazon's 2023 Prime Day will be held from July 11 to 12. In the past, during Prime Day, Target has launched promotions similar to Amazon, and this year is no exception.

On June 21, Target announced that it will hold its largest promotion event of the season, "Target Circle Week", from July 9 to July 15, 2023, providing exclusive offers for Target Circle members.

During the event, Target's own brands (such as Sun Squad, Good & Gather and Cat & Jack) and top national brands (such as Dyson and Keurig) will be offered at up to 50% off, and Target Circle members can make purchases in Target stores, on the website and or app.

All items during the "Target Deal Days" will be available for in-store, curbside pickup, or same-day delivery through Target's Shipt platform. Users can enjoy free shipping on any purchase of $35 or more using a Target RedCard credit card.

In 2022, Target held a two-day summer promotion event called "Target Deal Days" in response to Amazon's Prime Day. In 2011, Target held "Deal Days" in October, which was essentially an early Black Friday sale.

Like Amazon, Target has not released separate results for its promotional events. However, the retailer previously revealed in its earnings report that sales during the 2020 "Deal Days" event increased by more than 2.5 times compared to the 2019 "Deal Days", and it provided customers with millions of dollars in discounts.

“Target Circle Week is our way of saying thank you to our customers,” said Cara Sylvester, Target’s executive vice president and chief customer experience officer. “Our customers have saved millions of dollars during previous Target Circle Weeks, and this summer they will have another opportunity to enjoy exclusive deals from Target and take advantage of our industry-leading same-day delivery.”
