[For reference only] Analysis of eBay sites

I have been struggling with account issues these days, so I came to the forum and found that the main problem for many small accounts is that the restrictions and market goals are unclear. I will take a look at this eBay from my personal point of view, for reference only. Any similarities are purely coincidental! The analysis may not be comprehensive, please point it out!

US Station

The site is very powerful, but also very deceptive. In terms of products, electronic products and clothing accessories are hot products. For small accounts, don't touch electronic products. Chinese electronic products have been blacklisted by EBAY. It is easy to be ruined if you touch them with small accounts, and it is difficult to increase the credit limit. Of course, it does not exclude some good sellers. If you really have good products, you can try it after you rise.

I believe that many small-sized merchants are familiar with clothing and accessories. They all started with these things and increased their sales little by little. The US site is very bad because of the price war. I believe that the price war will not last long because in the near future, the registration policy will be implemented, so it is recommended to focus on mid-to-high-end products.

In terms of logistics: First of all, there is the pitfall of E-mail. But the US site has a feature that BBE is easier to control than several European sites. It may be because most buyers on the US site are used to Chinese-style small packages!

Australia Station

I have been looking at this site for a long time and I can't figure it out, but one thing is certain, fixed-price products need a lot of exposure and a lot of views to have a good sales record. Even if you use the advertising function, the views will not increase. Maybe some sellers rely on some low-priced product auctions to guide buyers to buy fixed-price products! I don't know this site, I hope you can point it out!

The logistics is very simple, neither very fast nor very slow.

UK Station

Selling clothes in the UK should be a good idea, whether it is formal wear, wedding dresses, casual wear, underwear, or sexy clothes, you basically don't have to worry about the number of views. Buyers in the UK are really willing to flip through the pages one by one, more diligent than people in Australia! Haha. Clothing is a big hit. Electronic products are second. According to EU law, you need to upgrade your business account to sell, which is relatively simple. Besides, other products are more comprehensive, except for unpopular ones. In fact, the UK site is not bad. Various products at least give sellers something to look forward to. Unlike the Australian site, only auctions can give you hope.

In terms of logistics: the first choice is the British Royal Parcel, the price is not very expensive, it depends on how you negotiate with the logistics. If you think it is expensive, use Hong Kong or Switzerland. The British are more likely to get angry and open a case, so this must be communicated well.

Canada

I've been working on it for a while, but it's really not ideal. It's such a waste of my energy. There may be popular products on it that I don't know about. Please give me some advice!

Logistics: As long as it’s a small package, it’s fine. Canadians are actually quite easy to talk to!

Belgium

This is a horrible website. It has two languages. The country also speaks two languages - Dutch and French. EBAY also has two languages. It is so horrible that it does not understand either language. I have listed on this website and sold some of them. I can't stand the annoying language. The market is not very good, so I left immediately.

Logistics: Belgium Parcel

Austria and Germany

They are from the same company and are interconnected. Everyone likes to visit the German site, so they ignore the Austrian site. Needless to say, the German site is a good site. Germany itself is the most developed country in e-commerce, so the sales volume of various products on EBAY is still good. EBAY Germany was the first to launch a business account. In the past, you had to make codes and so on to get that business account, which was very annoying. Now it is not necessary. Germans are more strict about quality and logistics speed. And the German language is terrible. If you don’t speak it well, customers will laugh at you. I remember when I was selling in Germany, I didn’t understand German and communicated in English, and that was terrible. They asked me to learn German before selling. I was insulting their country’s language. I was so stupid. Later, I asked a friend to find someone who learned German to help me reply to emails.

All items on this site are selling well, and the number of views is increasing very quickly, the fastest among all sites.

Logistics: Deutsche Post is the first choice, which is more expensive, but fast! PS: I am very sorry for the sellers who are deeply involved in the German site. I see that everyone is very enthusiastic about the German site. Here, I am very sorry to pour cold water on it. Some buyers may have entered a considerable misunderstanding. Here, I will explain the German site in detail.

First, the translation misunderstanding. German and English are very different. Translating from English to German is nothing more than the pot calling the kettle black. There is not much difference between translating from English to German and translating directly from Chinese to German. If it is directly translated from English to French, I agree with this point of view very much, because their grammar is relatively close. So this is a misunderstanding! Here is the explanation.

Secondly, Germany is indeed the most developed country in e-commerce. Compared with the loose American site, Germans are very rigorous in e-commerce. Therefore, professional language and communication are needed to reduce BBE, even if your product is really made of gold. However, once there is a problem in communication, it is common to get a low score in communication. I have experienced this deeply.

Furthermore, as a country with developed e-commerce and online shopping habits, Chinese sellers are very serious about online shopping. Most of them are used to low prices, so low-priced products often bring about an increase in BBE of the account in countries with developed e-commerce. I also deeply understand this. For this reason, I had more than 90 low scores in a month. Fortunately, the comprehensive score was raised, otherwise I would have been beaten to hell!

Transportation is often the top priority for Chinese people. Selling in the United States and sending to other countries with small parcels is indeed harmless because it is a foregone conclusion. Otherwise, EBAY will delay the process by using registered mail for all countries. EBAY executives also see that it is a foregone conclusion and cannot be changed for the time being. However, for Germany, strict customs control, coupled with the speed of small parcels, it is obvious that it has become a sick snail. Therefore, small parcels go through Germany and die directly. For this reason, I have received more than 190 low scores in one month. If it were not for the comprehensive sales volume, I would have been reincarnated as a new person!

A word about German auctions: In German auctions, if you add shipping costs, you must have a professional who learns German to help you reply to emails, otherwise it will be back to BC. Even if the shipping cost is 2 euros as stipulated by the EU, you still need a professional to help you reply to emails. This is very important. I understand the Chinese people's thoughts very well. To put it bluntly, it is to make money from shipping costs, but the customers don't understand, you have to explain, and if you can't explain well, it's over. If there is no shipping, I suggest you don't do it. Free shipping auctions are really not as good as the US site. After all, as I said before, the US site is very powerful. Why is it powerful? Because there are enough people watching the US site and auctions have become a kind of fun in the US site, or a basic conditioned reflex!

Comprehensive suggestion: Small accounts should be listed on relatively loose national sites, which will help the growth of the account. It is recommended that sellers with a quota of more than 20,000 can try mid-to-high-end products. You still need to explore the specific market yourself!

I am very sorry for leading you into misunderstanding!

France Station

I haven't done it, because I asked a lot of friends for help, but none of them understand French, so I was completely confused. I hope you can provide some advice.

Italy Station

Many sellers dare not touch this site. I have been selling on the Italian site before, and all the items were shipped by DHL and TNT. I suggest not to sell low-priced products on this site. It is very dangerous to ship small packages. The shipping fee I charged before was 15 euros. You can try this site for mid-to-high-end products. In fact, it is really good, because there are relatively few Chinese people. I sold on this site and flipped through all the pages of items and found 3 Chinese sellers, so the chance is still relatively large. The key is that they can afford the money and don't waste time. But the quality must be strictly controlled, otherwise it is easy to get bad reviews.

It is recommended to sell mid-to-high-end products!

Logistics advice: Use express delivery!

Sweden Station

This is the platform I dreamed of building, but it is independent and needs to be re-registered. It is not open to the public. When I saw this site, my mouth was watering... I can only look at it!! Tragedy!

Switzerland Station

There is nothing special about it. I have worked in the past and found that items were not selling well. Basically, all the products were from the German site, so it should be called the German site. Why call it the Swiss site? It’s a rip-off!

New Zealand

The only impression I have is that I sold wigs on it, and the sales were average. Later, because I made a lot of sites, I chose a good site and gave up on this site. I still have enough energy to study this site, so I hope to add to it!

Poland Station

I worked on a Polish website, selling electronic products, but the sales were not very good, so I gave up the small and kept the big. I got rid of this website without hesitation!

I have paid more or less attention to other sites and took a rough look. The sales of Chinese sellers are not very good, so I haven’t studied them in detail. I hope you can add to my research!

The above are my personal opinions. Please correct me if I am wrong or add to my incomplete parts. This is for your reference. You still need to experience it yourself!
