I graduated this year and have been working in Amazon operations for 6 months since my internship. At the beginning, I was full of confidence and thought that as long as I worked hard enough, I would succeed. But now, I don’t think so.

After I came in, I started as an assistant, watching videos to learn the basics, and the master would come over occasionally to explain. As for advertising, I asked the novice operator to teach me. I started to operate independently after two weeks. At that time, I felt completely confused. I didn’t know what to do every day. I thought there would be more teaching later, but I found that there was no more. That was it, but I felt that I hadn’t achieved anything yet. So I asked other operators and they said they all went through this. I was completely confused. Now I don’t know what promotion ideas, advertising methods, and how to promote new and old products are.

So I thought, forget it, maybe this industry is like this, so I'll just teach myself. I started learning to write copy, make pictures, and figure out what advertising is. It lasted for a while, but I was still confused. I accidentally discovered this good thing called forums, and then I started browsing forums like crazy. I didn't know until I went on, and I was shocked. I couldn't even understand many of the things that others said on the forums, and I didn't know what they were talking about. Okay, so I started a new round of learning. After understanding it, I started to try it myself, and slowly I had some understanding of operations. I feel like I have some knowledge, but I'm still a half-baked person.

The current situation is that the company's resources are seriously tilted. There is no need to choose products. New products are always the ones that are left by the old operators and given to us newcomers. Moreover, there are very few new products. There is no chance to show our ability even if we want to break through. After comparing, the salary is relatively low in the industry. The company's turnover seems to be relatively large. Four or five operators have left in the past six months. I am not a person who seeks comfort, so I think this is a waste of time and meaningless. How can I break through the current situation?
