What is the Iraq VOC certification introduction? Iraq VOC certification introduction evaluation
The Iraqi government officially implemented the VOC conformity inspection and certification program in May 2011, requiring all goods imported into Iraq to obtain a COC certificate. This move is to ensure product quality and consumer safety. The VOC conformity certification program is divided into COC certificates and COI certificates. In addition to the mandatory certification products needing to obtain a COC certificate, the program also introduced a COI voluntary certification program, which is generally required by importers, but not by the government .

Certification process:

1.      Product testing, products need to be tested in ISO 17025 testing laboratories, the testing standards are based on Iraqi standards first, if there is no Iraqi standard, international standards can be used, but national standards are not accepted

2.      Submit the documents to the issuing agency for review, and arrange inspection after passing the review.

3.      The inspector will conduct on-site inspection and arrange for certification if the goods pass the inspection.

In addition to the above information, the COC certificate also requires the following documents:

1. Inspection Application Form

2. Scanned copy of L/C, for payment by letter of credit

3. Product photos, labels or nameplates are clearly visible

4. Packaging photos with clear marking information

5. Arabic manuals are required for electronic products
