Big changes to US tariffs! This category has been fully exempted

In the past two days, the US FTC has released a very good news to the outside world, announcing a two-year suspension of punitive tariffs on imports of solar photovoltaic products and upstream raw materials. It is currently discussing more content on lifting punitive tariffs on China.

Why is it said that lifting the tariffs on photovoltaic products is of great significance? Because of the strength of China's photovoltaic industry, Europe and the United States imposed punitive tariffs on our photovoltaic products as early as 2013 and 2014 to protect their domestic photovoltaic industries. The date of implementation of this tariff was far earlier than the time when Trump started the trade war. Suspending the tariffs on photovoltaic products means that the US government is not only going to lift the punitive tariffs set by Trump at that time, but also the tariffs so long ago. I have no doubt that the United States will adjust even the normal tariffs according to the national conditions of the United States and reduce tariffs on a large scale.

According to the current statement of the White House spokesperson, the tax cuts for the photovoltaic industry are just an appetizer. The Biden administration is currently discussing the cancellation of all punitive tariffs on China established during Trump's tenure, and only retaining tariffs on some metal raw materials such as steel and aluminum.

Reducing or exempting tariffs is conducive to other countries' products entering the US market with a cheaper threshold, which is very unfriendly to the US domestic manufacturing industry. After the Biden administration released the news of tax cuts, it was strongly resisted by the domestic manufacturing industry. Even within the Democratic Party, there were many voices of opposition. Why would Biden take such a big risk to lower tariffs to benefit our cross-border sellers? To put it bluntly, it is still the inflation problem in the United States, which is really going to explode.

Inflation is urgent, low-priced overseas products are the emergency

The past few months have been the most horrific period of inflation for the American people. Led by the skyrocketing oil prices, prices of all daily necessities in the US market have increased. According to a survey conducted from late April to early May, more than 70% of Americans believe that the current inflation problem in the US market is very serious and has seriously affected their lives. In this part of the view, the severity of inflation even exceeds the epidemic, guns and racial discrimination.

At the same time, 23% of Americans believe that inflation is a moderate problem, and the proportion of people who think that inflation is a minor problem or even no problem is less than 7%. The vast majority of Americans believe that the serious inflation problem will continue for several months.
