How to write an Amazon review email and you won’t have to worry about reviews

How to write an Amazon review email and you won’t have to worry about reviews
When Amazon users buy products, they consider multiple factors, including product details, price, etc. Of course, the most important thing is the reviews.

When a consumer is hesitating between two products, one of which has only two or three reviews, while the other has hundreds of reviews and a high rating, it goes without saying which product the consumer will choose to buy.

According to research, the review rate of Amazon buyers is between 5-15%, which means that only about one in ten people will leave a review for every 100 sales. Therefore, Amazon sellers have been studying ways to get more product reviews.

Although many sellers offer free products or refunds in exchange for categories, this method is relatively risky and may cause Amazon to freeze your account and remove reviews. Therefore, sending emails is relatively the most reliable method.

Email review request

By sending users an email reminding them how important their review is to you and how valuable it is, you can encourage them to leave a review.

Even if few users read your emails, but you send 100 emails, as long as 10 people read the emails and 2 of them leave comments, then the number of your comments will increase by two.

By repeatedly testing emails, such as adding animated GIFs or images, and finding the email title and content that best suits you, you can increase the conversion rate of review request emails and bring you more product reviews.

Email template for requesting reviews

In order to help sellers improve the conversion rate of review request emails, it is recommended that sellers send multiple emails. In the first email sent, do not directly ask buyers to leave reviews.

The content of the first email needs to provide valuable or interesting content, and does not require the buyer to take any action, so that the seller is more likely to accept your email. The following is a template for the first review request email, which needs to be sent to the user after the order has been shipped:

Hello,

Thank you so much for your purchase of [product name] !

(Funny GIF thanks for the picture)

Your purchase is on its way! It should be there very soon. You can keep track of its progress with this tracking link: [tracking number link]

We are here to help in any way we can throughout the entire process. If you have any questions at all about your order or any of our other products, we'd be happy to answer them! You can reach us any time at [Contact] .

Thanks again,
[Seller Name]

After your customers have used the product, you can send a second email asking them to leave you a review. The timing of sending the email depends on the product you are selling. For example, if you have a bag, you can wait for two or three weeks to give consumers a chance to use it multiple times and understand the quality of the product.

It is against Amazon’s Terms of Service to explicitly ask customers to write positive reviews. You can only ask customers to review your products honestly, so keep this in mind when using call-to-action language in your emails. Here is the template for the second email:

Hello,

It's (seller name) again! Just wanted to check in and see how things are going with your [product name] . We hope you have enjoyed been it!

If you have a moment, we'd sincerely appreciate it if you could give our product a quick review. Customer feedback is extremely valuable to us as it helps us to understand what our customers are looking for. It is also very helpful to the Amazon community as many buyers factor product reviews heavily in their decision-making process! Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated: [Product Link]

(Thanks GIF)

And as always, don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your order. We are always here to help! [Seller Contact Information]

Thanks,
(Seller's Name)

Use an automated email service to set up these templates, then let the email tool send review requests for you, helping you convert more sales into product reviews, and more reviews lead to more sales.
