Amazon Vine program is open to third-party sellers. How to join the program?

On Amazon, reviews have a significant impact on product ranking, traffic, and sales performance.

The more reviews a product has, the more exposure it has and the more likely consumers are to buy it.

Product exposure and sales are the two key factors that determine whether a seller can succeed on the platform.

Due to the impact of the epidemic, Amazon has suspended the Amazon Vine program in order to centralize the platform's supply chain services, but this does not prevent sellers from learning about the program in advance and preparing to join the program.

Third-party sellers must meet the following requirements to use the Amazon Vine program:

  • Have a professional selling account

  • Register for Amazon Brand Registry

  • Product detail page has fewer than 30 reviews

  • Newly released FBA products available for purchase

  • Non-adult products

  • In stock

  • Products have product images and descriptions

What is the Amazon Vine Program?

Amazon Vine invites the most reliable consumers to leave reviews for newly released products to help other consumers make informed purchasing decisions. These invited reviewers are called Vine Voices.

Sellers who join the Vine program can provide free products to these consumers and ask them to leave reviews for the products so that other consumers can better understand your products, thereby promoting sales of new or slow-selling products.

To join the Vine program, you must have a professional seller account, have registered for Amazon brand registration, and provide Amazon FBA shipping methods. Vine Voices will have the opportunity to apply to leave reviews for the products you add.

Most sellers hope to get as many reviews as possible, which determines how competitive the seller is in the market. Therefore, sellers should study how many reviews are required for their products to be on the homepage.

In general, if sellers want to increase product reviews and improve profits, joining the Amazon Vine program is an option.

How Does Amazon Vine Work?

The reviewer's ranking depends on whether his review is helpful to other consumers and the number of reviews he has written. The following figure shows the operation process of Amazon Vine:

1. Register and add the products you want to review.
2. Send the product to Amazon.
3. Your products will be sent to Vine Voices in the form of subscription emails every month for them to select and place orders.
4. Amazon sends product samples and Vine Voices leave reviews on your product details page.
5. Reviews increase product awareness, boost sales and pre-orders.

New brands looking to increase market share are most likely to leverage and benefit from review channels like Amazon Vine .

Amazon Vine offers 3 plans:

Basic — allows up to 5 products to be uploaded

Plus—allows you to upload 10 products

Premium—allows you to upload 20 products

What should I do if I receive negative comments?

If a Vine Voice leaves you a bad review, it has no impact on their ranking. Sellers do not have their contact information and cannot influence their decision.

For sellers, if you receive a negative review, it is best to respond to the review publicly . Any way to attract customer engagement can help you increase brand awareness.

Responding publicly to reviews shows that you care and are willing to try to solve the customer's problem. Responding publicly to buyer reviews can be risky, and sellers should make sure that your response does not offend the customer or be too biased in favor of their own products.

The best approach is to first express your sympathy and your willingness to help him solve the problem. Ask a few questions to understand whether it is a logistics problem or a product problem.
