What is relevance? Relevance evaluation

What is relevance? Relevance evaluation
The platform officials believe that the same person or the same company operates multiple stores to gain more product exposure. This behavior is not allowed by the official, so they will suppress it through various means. Once verified, the so-called "association" is created, and multiple stores may be blocked and closed.

Overview

The association refers to the same platform. Different platforms are different systems and different operators. They have no relationship with each other and there is no such thing as association.

Basic Information

Targeted platforms: wish, Amazon, etc.

Starting point for combating association

On Wish, an entity can only open one store. Individuals and companies belong to one entity. Once an entity opens a store, it cannot open additional stores, and the additional stores will be closed.

Amazon is a "product-heavy, store-light" platform that places great emphasis on buyer shopping experience. It prefers for the same product to appear only once on the platform, thus preventing sellers from repeatedly distributing and selling the same product.

Main factors associated

1. The registration information is the same, including basic personal information, email address, phone number, etc.

2. The network environment is the same, including the computer MAC address, router MAC network IP, etc., which will be recorded by the official

3. The store products are too similar. There are too many similar products, and the titles, descriptions, pictures, etc. are very similar. Do not use the same CSV files of the wish platform, the EXCEL files of the Amazon platform, etc. to upload products.

4. Similar operating methods

Amazon’s basis for determining relevance

1. Operation terminal (including network card address, browser cookies, hard disk information), do not operate multiple accounts on the same computer.

2. Network, router address, external IP address (do not use the same external IP to operate multiple accounts at the same time)

3. Third-party account information (payment method, phone number, address).

The basis for Wish to determine relevance

Like Amazon, Wish officially allows one person to register only one store. If multiple stores are registered, the accounts may be found to be related, resulting in the account being blocked. The official methods of checking for association include but are not limited to the following:

1. You cannot register or log in multiple accounts on the same computer or IP. Otherwise, these multiple accounts will be listed as key review accounts and are likely to be linked later.

2. Register with the same mobile phone number, the same ID card, and the same payment method: that is, the registration information must be completely different. This is the most direct evidence for the official investigation of the connection.

3. Duplicate distribution of goods by multiple accounts: The product information of multiple stores cannot be exactly the same. If the duplication rate reaches a certain proportion, they may also be linked.

Newegg's basis for determining relevance

Newegg does not restrict computer IP addresses, and there is no problem of associated accounts. Sellers can operate Newegg accounts on different computers or operate multiple Newegg accounts on the same computer.

Recommended Operation Plan

1. Ordinary broadband + computer

2. Ordinary broadband + router + computer

3. Computer + Internet card

Frequently asked questions

1. Will there be any association if I register using the cluster address?

Association is the result of multiple factors. It is rare for an address to be the only factor that causes an association. However, in order to avoid this weak association factor as much as possible, even if a cluster address is used, try to avoid consistency in specific room numbers.

2. If all other information is different and only the ID card address is the same, will they be linked?

It is possible for different people from the same family to register on Amazon. There is no rule that states that they will be linked if their ID card addresses are the same.
