Jabong.com was founded by Praveen Sinha, Lakshmi Potluri, Arun Chandra Mohan and Manu Jain as an e-commerce portal selling Indian fashion and lifestyle products.

In March 2013, Jabong was shipping over 6,000 orders per day. Com-Score reported from December 2012 to May 2013 that Jabong.com had the most traffic among all Indian e-commerce companies.
