Historical Development

Germany's Rakuten acquired the German veteran e-commerce platform Tradoria in 2011, and officially changed the name of Tradoria's website to Rakuten.de shopping the following year.

5. 22f Tax Certificated (22f Tax Number Certificate).

6. German Bank info (German bank account, the account name must be the same as the registered company name. This account will be used for all Rakuten charges and remittances. Please make sure there is enough money for Rakuten to receive the payment).

7. AML-Form (Anti-Money Laundering Declaration Form, provided by Rakuten).

8. DE return address (German return address).

9. Merchant questionnaires (provided by Rakuten).


Settlement process

1. Open the website www.rakuten.de and click "Rakuten Händler werden" (Become a retailer) at the bottom of the homepage.

2. Click "Enter registration information" at the top of the page that appears.

3. Fill in the registration form: fill in the company name, select the country, name, phone number, email address, product category, address, online store link, and then click "Abschicken" (Send).

4. After submitting the application form, a dedicated investment promotion team member from Rakuten will contact you.

Settlement Fees

The store opening fee is 49 euros;

Monthly rent: 39 euros;

Commission: 13%-18%.
