SPU = Standard Product Unit

SPU is the smallest unit of product information aggregation.

For example: Brand Apple + Model: 5s can determine a product, namely SPU

Add the color white and size 4.0, and it means one SKU

SPU + color + size is a SKU. SKU is subordinate to SPU.

In the process of electronicization of commodity information, the characteristics of commodities can be described by multiple "attribute|attribute value pairs". Commodities with exactly the same "attribute|attribute value pairs" can be abstracted into one SPU.

On the other hand, these "attribute|attribute value pairs" are solidified in SPU and gradually standardized.
