Handled by AliExpress is a self-operated buyer experience project launched by AliExpress in 2017. The platform helps merchants select potential products, write product descriptions, and manually translate multilingual descriptions. Merchants ship the products to the platform's designated cooperative warehouses in advance. The platform controls the warehouse's delivery and logistics timeliness. Each order generated by the product is directly and quickly issued by the warehouse.

Big promotion on the platform: Products in the top-quality products plan will be exclusively available at the Double 11 independent venue, with their own traffic entrance.

Top Products Plan Channel (under planning) is an independent channel with high traffic entrance.

5. The platform is responsible for after-sales service


Logistics disputes do not require sellers to respond; the platform will directly intervene to verify the logistics status and make judgments.


Disputes caused by warehouse and logistics reasons and low DSR scores will not be included in the seller account assessment.


The platform will be responsible for refunds due to disputes caused by warehouse cargo flow, with a maximum limit of RMB 800.

Joining process



Sharp warehouse fee composition


Top warehouse costs = storage fees + warehouse operation fees + packaging material fees + delivery fees.


Storage fee: The fee is charged from the date the goods enter the warehouse. The system automatically takes the data at 24:00 every day as the daily inventory quantity; if the inventory turnover days are ≤30 days, there is no storage service fee; the fee is 0.003 yuan/piece/day;


In-warehouse operation fee: Fees include product inspection, receiving, putting on shelves, order sorting, packaging and boxing, printing express parcel documents, affixing waybills, warehouse scanning, information entry system, and tracking information; currently all operation fees are 2.3 yuan/order; Alipay will deduct money in real time when the order is shipped out;


Packaging material fee: Cainiao Phase I provides 10 types of co-extruded film bubble bag packaging as logistics packaging for delivery; charges are based on the actual packaging materials used;


Delivery fee: The fee refers to "51 Logistics-Standard Delivery"; the fee is subject to the 51 Logistics billing nodes and billing rules.


Seller qualification assessment


1. Marketing resource allocation: The requirements are high order/DETAil UV conversion rate; including low out-of-stock rate in hours of out-of-stock/online exposure time;


2. Transaction Contribution: Sellers participating in the top domestic warehouse will be ranked according to monthly transaction orders. Top merchants will be rewarded and the bottom merchants will be eliminated. In terms of dispute rate indicators, products with SNAD higher than the website average will be eliminated.


3. Average number of contributed orders per day: The top 10 merchants will have exclusive access to sea view rooms at the Double 11 venue.


Development History


-In 2017, the Top Goods Project was tested on a small scale.


-Starting from January 26, 2018 (China time), the trial operation phase of the Top Products Program will end. If your product is registered for the Top Products Program after January 26, the platform will charge you a translation service fee for the newly registered product that has been reviewed and approved by the second-level staff. The translation fee will be deducted from the seller's account. Currently, one product involves editing and translation in four languages: English, Russian, Spanish, and French, and the one-time fee is US$30.
